Good Things Festival 2024

project overview
The Brief
Good Things Festival, Australia’s leading alternative and heavy music festival, brought us on to lead their creative execution across all channels for the 2024 edition. Our task was to elevate the brand experience by producing a cinematic official aftermovie, building a brand-new website, and crafting a complete social media content campaign spanning three major cities.
From pre-event hype to post-event recaps, we were responsible for capturing the culture, chaos, and community that defines Good Things.
Website Build
We designed and developed a new custom-built website that reflected the high-energy, genre-blending identity of the festival. Built on Webflow, the site featured:
- Real-time tour and ticket updates
- Dynamic line-up announcements
- Integrated Spotify & YouTube embeds
- Meta pixel integration
- A clear focus on UX for mobile-first discovery
- A dedicated area for archived past tours, allowing Good Things to showcase their pedigree
The site helped centralise all event communications, increased conversions during on-sale periods, and gave fans and sponsors a dynamic platform to engage with.
Social Media Campaign Content
Our creative team also handled all campaign content production, supplying the Good Things team with:
- Teaser trailers and lineup drops
- Timetable and set time animations
- On-sale reminder reels and tiles
- City-specific content for Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane
- Daily content edits leading up to and during the festival
- Story assets and behind-the-scenes looks at build days, crowd arrivals, and sponsor setups
This helped build sustained hype throughout the campaign and ensured the brand maintained a strong, consistent visual identity across all platforms.
On-Ground Filming & Official Aftermovie
We deployed local videographers in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane to cover the festival from 12 PM to 8 PM, focusing on:
- Stage 666: Freak shows, karaoke, DJs, and Good Things Got Talent performances
- Rockstar Competition Winners: Documenting the full VIP experience — from lanyards to backstage to main stage
- BBQ City & Food Stalls: Crowds, grilling action, and the energy of the food precincts
- Crowd Vox Pops: Real fans, real moments, raw reactions
- Outfits & Fan Fashion: Masks, makeup, matching shirts and standout festival looks
- Sponsor Coverage: Clean footage of all activations, products in use, and artists engaging with partner brands
-
Results
